I have owned and sailed many top hats over the years inshore & offshore great yachts due to there design this one caught my eye as she is set up as a ocean sailors yacht what I found on her I don't see on most top hats yachts!

outboard mariner 8hp great (see notes)
the outboard is a 8hp long shaft mariner outboard motor which started first go for me has custom stainless steel fuel tank fitted the engine ran really well I did take the yacht for a motor pumps lots water with tell tail goes great at all speeds also has charging point to charge battery it was new In 10/4/2003 run in well with looks like low hours to me have maintenance manual looks well serviced too !

the mooring is in a sheltered position of the lake the mooring is rented from the club which has friendly people good set with bar restaurant loading dock boat ramp dinghy launch area the mooring rental cost is $200 per month this will start from end of auction
also its much cheaper to get your own mooring if you are going to stay on the lake I can help with this

I have name and purchase documents from the first owner of this yacht and cost was $13,357 in 1/7/1988 built by top hat yachts at Wyong NSW 2258 I have the sails plans ships drawings rigging drawings and plans engine purchase documents and 2010 survey and past insurance documents and manuals for most if not all systems on board
Final comments from me
I did take her for a run under motor went great didn't have time for a sail :( though from what I found I would of done a coast delivery In her with updated safety gear there are other top hats on the market with prettier fit outs though this one will be cheap as a special top yacht sea yacht not just for swanning around the harbours!
